Stated in Wikipedia, sploshing is a wet and messy fetish (WAM) and a kind of sexual fetishism where the man/woman turn aroused when substances are intentionally and ungenerously applied to the naked skin or to the attire the person is wearing.
Messy stuff may contain mud, whipped cream, mud, custard, shaving foam, baked beans, pudding, peanut butter, chocolate sauce, Japanese-style lotion, paint, oil or gunge/slime, etc.
While wet stuff is precisely water but may also comprise other liquids such as fruit juice, milk or alcohol (usually beer).
Sploshing and sploshing parties might not be for every person though.
