Jamaica's Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, has called for a strategic push to elevate Jamaica̢۪s presence in the global tourism supply chain, particularly within the lucrative cruise sector. This comes after a two-day business opportunity meeting with Carnival Corporation and local manufacturers, held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on September 23-24, 2024. The event was organized by the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) and aimed to forge new partnerships between Jamaican businesses and Carnival̢۪s global cruise brands.
